Maria began her psychology studies at Panteion University in 2007, bringing prior academic and professional experience from other fields. In 2012, she was introduced to the relational model of psychotherapy, a framework she has since honed through diverse collaborations, including her most significant partnership with the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy Athens (ICPA).

Since 2016, Maria has been an integral part of ICPA, providing psychotherapy and offering crucial psychological support. Her prior roles include serving as a psychologist and psychotherapist at the "Roi Counseling and Psychological Support Center" from 2013 to 2014, and as an assistant professor for the "Counseling and New Technologies" course at ASPAITE during the same period.

Maria’s professional career extends beyond psychotherapy. She has held managerial roles, including Card Director at the Bank of Cyprus, and has made meaningful contributions to the Adapted Activities Scientific Association. In addition to her practical experience, she has actively pursued academic growth, participating in postgraduate training and seminars. In 2012, she earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, cementing her foundation in the field.
