Discovering the modern world of psychotherapy through ICPA

The experience I had as a psychology student with ICPA was my first in a work environment. Unfortunately, it coincided with many obstacles caused by the lock-down that the country went through, so I feel that I did not get all the experiences I could have gotten by coming into contact with a psychotherapy center.

However, within this space, I met therapists with impeccable knowledge of their subject matter, critical faculties and a very good attitude and willingness to help other therapists, whether new or more experienced. Most importantly, however, at ICPA I came into contact with a more modern psychotherapeutic model, that of relational psychotherapy, whose ideas and approaches I found very interesting and useful for my future in the field of psychology.
